The house was conceived, designed and furnished by Jorge Letelier from the award winning and internationally renowned design team of ¨Letelier & Rock Design”, based in Manhattan, whose work is known by connoisseurs worldwide . The design concept of the house was based on 18 century Spanish Colonial architecture . To achieve a rare degree of authenticity, the design team traveled throughout Central and South America to purchase and incorporate many 18th Century original architectural artifacts into the building of this superb “one of a kind” residence. Furthermore, the design team insured that the interior and exterior of the house was embellished with a world class collection of museum quality fine art and period furniture using only the finest authentic treasures collected around the world . This architectural gem “27 Cartagena” was meticulously and painstakingly completed over three years by world class craftsmen paying attention to the smallest of details.
