Guanacaste is one of Costa Rica’s seven provinces in the northern pacific region. The province is well known for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the entire country. Foreigners and locals flock to towns like Playa Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo, Playa Langosta, Playa Conchal, Playa Grande, Potrero, Surfside, Avellanas, Playa Negra and Brasilito in search of fun and relaxation. These areas are commonly known as the Gold Coast. Inside these areas are some very popular and exclusive gated communities like Catalina Cove, Hacienda Pinilla, Mar Vista, Las Catalinas, Senderos, El Tesoro, Punto San Francisco, and Reserva Conchal. Our coffee tours, butterfly gardens, leatherback turtle nesting sites, and national parks are some of the many excursions. A few of our activities in Guanacaste’s Gold Coast include; surfing, kayaking, horseback riding, ATV adventures, canopy tours, sport fishing, mountain bike and hiking, diving, snorkeling, and estuary tours. There is something for the entire family!
The Osa Peninsula is simply magical. The rainforest, remote beaches, and extremely low population make this one of the most peaceful and beautiful places on the planet. It is estimated that 2.5% of the entire world’s biodiversity lives on the Peninsula. It is home to Corcovado National Park, which is the crown jewel of the Costa Rican park system. There is a large expat contingent in the area, so even though it is remote, there is a solid community to connect with of like-minded neighbors who want to protect the area, and its natural beauty from overdevelopment. There is world-class surfing, nature tours, waterfall rappelling, tree climbing, bird watching, sports fishing, kayaking, and many more activities to enjoy.
